La Matiere Du Bijou
2 to 25 April 2015
Galerie Mâitre Albert
6, rue Mâitre Albert
Paris
MAMA is the Beatrice Speranza and Emy Petrini collection: an artistic collaboration, begun in 2009 in the design and construction of large installations as well as small jewels capable of combining nature, design and photography, in an attempt to grasp the dimension of dream and imaginative that it can be generated only by the observation of the real world. The “MAMA” creations are born on a sunny day, necklaces inspired by nature, delicate poetry to wear. Theme of the exhibition is the experimentation and research that Italians artists followed for the implementation of the exhibited creations, reinterpreting materials and old workings.
Materials that give up to unthinkable forms, come to life or change, that are transformed, they invent a new use, joking with the luxury and wink to the precious: all this is possible thanks to the imagination and skilful work of Italian artists with their creations 2 to 25 April 2015 to Maître Albert gallery.
With the exhibition “La matière du bijou” we will leave surprised by paper, wood, ceramics, silicon, leaves, pvc scraps that become necklaces, rings, pendants, bracelets.
Exhibition curators and creators of the outfitting are the collective 70m2Paris, group of Italian architects and artists who aim to promote Italian creativity beyond its borders through the presentation of contemporary and innovative projects.
